Winter Storm is raging

Our latest seasonal special podcast - The Winter Storm - is available for download right now.

It's a soundtrack for the darkest time of year, and will carry you, on wings of song, poetry and prose, from December through to the end of February.  However, just like Narnia under the White Witch, it is always Winter and never Christmas!

(Don't worry though. Our Festive Selection Box show will redress that balance when it is released in mid-December. It will be stuffed full of Christmas and Yuletide goodies!).

It's got quite a cast list, drawn from the worlds of folk, folk-rock, singer-songwriter and roots musicGreen Diesel - The Imagined Village - The Young 'Uns - Peter Lacey - Reid Jamieson - Ninebarrow - Mark Ellis - Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar - KC Barber - George Boomsma - Stooshie - Rainbow Chasers - Miranda Sykes - Shine - Kyle Carey - Charlie Mosbrook - Duncan McCrone - Nigel Brown.

And on the literary side it ranges from Lord Byron to some bloke called Phil Widdows

Quotations by: Oliver Herford - James Carlos Blake - John Burrows - Thomas De Quincey - John Updyke - Lord Byron - Billy Connolly - Sinclair Lewis - Phil Widdows - Robert Byrne - JR Stockton.

Download the Winter Storm today, burn it to CD, put it on your MP3 player, add it to your iTunes… and enjoy a storming winter!
