Christmas show is up x 2!

The FolkCast Festive Selection Box 2008 is up for grabs now! In fact, it's up twice - in two versions. One is encoded at 128kbps and the other at 160kbps. Why? Because for some reason the first version sounded particularly poor quality. It's always a balance between sound quality and file size for FolkCast, because at 1hr18mins it's a biiiiiig file - so this way subscribers can take their pick of which version of the show to download and keep. Also, I've set up a separate RSS feed for the Selection Boxes (with both 08 versions, and last year's show too - which is also at 160kbps) in an effort to attract people who are searching for Christmas music rather than folk music. I've submitted the feed to iTunes, so it should appear there in a day or so. You can access it directly here. Paste it into your Podcatcher. When you've downloaded the show, if you've any comments on the the music, this is as good a place as a ny to make them! All the best, Phil
